10 Things 2016 Had Taught Me

Before we wrap up this year to an end, here is a list of what 2016 had taught me: 
 
 1.) Always do your best. 
 2.) It is okay to fail. It is okay to be sad and disappointed but do not let it stop you from pursuing your dreams. 
 3.) Always have the courage to try again. 
 4.) Being scared doesn't mean that you are weak. 
 5.) Give credits to yourself too 
 6.) Do not mind what other people might say about you. 
 7.) You are grumpy at times but always try to be nice. 
 8.) Say what you really feel. 
 9.) Say 'no' without explaining yourself because you do not owe anyone an explanation. 
 10.) Do not forget to always thank Him for all the things that you have asked and had, and also those that you have asked and didn't happen. And also, thank Him for all the beautiful things that had happened this year without you asking for it.

To the People Who are Struggling to Love Their Own Skin

You've probably heard it a lot. Those words. Just be yourself. As cliché as it might sound, that is how you have to be. Aren't well all just trying to be the best of ourselves? To be that person that we've always wanted to be and create that identity? Maybe that is the reason why we find it hard to love the skin we are in and not finding it the way we wanted. When you love, you love with all you've got . That's the love we give to other people. But why do we find it hard to give that love to someone who deserves it most - which is ourselves? Sometimes, we create the excuse of being in a relationship despite not being compatible just for the sake of seeking that love we cannot give to our own selves. But aren't we supposed to try to make the longest relationship that we are to have to work? The relationship with our own selves? Goodread's Best Young Adult Fantasy & Science Fiction of 2016!

I couldn’t contain my happiness right now. The book that have turned my emotions upside down won this year’s Best YA Fantasy and Science Fiction on Goodreads’ Best Books of 2016. Although I originally voted for Empire of Storms (because that was hella of a fifth book!!!!), it is still a SARAH J. MAAS BOOK!!!!!!!!! And every Sarah J.
